About Us
Frank and Annett Titze
born and raised in Leipzig, Saxony, welcome you to Germany right here at the Ratskeller in the heart of Fort Lauderdale.
Many cities in Germany have a Ratskeller. A Ratskeller is typically a restaurant located in
the basement of the Rathaus, the City Hall.
The translation of the "Ratskeller" is " City Hall Basement".
It became a popular place for officials to enjoy a good meal with a glass of beer or wine after work.
In our Ratskeller we offer you an authentic experience in fine German cuisine and hospitality.
We personally invite you to our Ratskeller which reflects the food and tradition of Saxony.
Saxony is located in the southeast corner of Germany. You will find in our kitchen regular
German food which is prepared after the regions recipes. An authentic flair of Saxony is added to each item on the menu, prepared by our German chef who takes great care and pride in preparing the delectable dishes served here in the Ratskeller.
Your Dinner choice will be especially prepared for you using the finest and freshest ingredients available. Please allow us the time necessary to perfectly prepare your meal.
Guten Appetit!
